The cause is wearing of the tagging ink transfer roller that was previously used for precancelling coil stamps with two lines on the <#cottrell=Cottrell> 803 press. Track tagging is more commonly found on the Cottrell Press 1983 2¢ Locomotive coil, <#scott=Scott> 1897.
